7ºD aprende sobre Compostagem / 7D class learns about composting

Na passada quarta-feira, a turma 7D, em aula prática de Ciências Naturais, aprendeu como fazer a compostagem a partir de resíduos produzidos na escola e em casa.

Os alunos puderam ainda aplicar os seus conhecimentos na resolução do crucigrama patente na exposição sobre o tema patente na escola, já abordada em post anterior.

Last wednesday, Class 7D, in a practical class of Natural Sciences, learned how to make compost from waste produced at school and at home.

The students were also able to apply their knowledge in solving the crossword puzzle in the exposition on the topic at the school, already discussed in the previous post.

Compostagem: alunos do Voc. Bioturismo ensinam alunos do 4º ano / Composting: Voc. Biotourism teaches 4th year students

Hoje, os alunos do curso de Bioturismo, nomeadamente o Luís Rebelo, o Abel e a Juliana, orientaram os alunos do 4º ano num jogo sobre compostagem, do qual fizeram a respetiva reportagem em forma de filme, e ainda uma versão do mesmo realizada em Movie Maker.


Today, the students of the Biotourism course, namely Luis Rebelo, Abel and Juliana, guided the students of the 4th year in a game about composting, from which they did the respective report in the form of a film, and also a version of the same realized in Movie Maker.

Jogos tradicionais / Traditional sports

Aqui fica o nosso trabalho relativo aos jogos tradicionais portugueses, com todas as turmas envolvidas no projeto a participarem, nomeadamente o 7ºA e 7ºD, PCA e Vocacional de Bioturismo. Honra seja feita a todos os alunos desta última turma, os quais orientaram a realização dos jogos com grande interesse e competência. A forma exemplar como decorreu este evento deveu-se em grande parte à Cooperativa Terra Chã, a qual cedeu os materiais e os recursos humanos necessários ao bom desenrolar das atividades. Aqui fica a reportagem em forma de vídeo.

 Here is our work on traditional Portuguese games, with all the groups involved in the project to participate, namely the 7th A and 7th D, PCA and Vocational Biotourism. Honor is given to all the students of this last group, who have guided the performance of the games with great interest and competence. The exemplary way in which this event took place was due in large part to the Cooperativa Terra Chã, which provided the materials and human resources necessary for the smooth running of the activities. Aqui fica um video feito pelos alunos da turma de Bioturismo sobre as atividades de compostagem feitas diariamente na nossa escola:

Learning about composting / Aprendendo sobre compostagem

Com o esforço dos alunos da turma vocacional de Bioturismo, foi possível elaborar uma exposição, agora patente na escola, sobre o tema da compostagem na qual podemos observar vários trabalhos elaborados pelos alunos desta turma, que a seguir se apresentam em fotografia e num pequeno vídeo.

Os alunos interessados poderão tentar preencher o crucigrama, pedido as peças na biblioteca, dando assim um carácter um pouco mais lúdico a esta exposição.

Esperamos ainda realizar mais algumas atividades, para além das apresentadas. 

Decorre em bases diárias a recolha de resíduos da cantina (restos de fruta e pão), das borras de café do bar e dos resíduos orgânicos da horta, bem como a sua colocação no composto, visando a obtenção de composto para aplicar na horta.

Para além do trabalho da turma de bioturismo, podemos observar alguns registos dos alunos do PCA, relativos ao processo da compostagem, abordado nas aulas. 

With the effort of the students of the vocational group of Biotourism, it was possible to elaborate an exposition, now evident in the school, on the subject of composting in which we can observe several works elaborated by the students of this group, which are presented in photography and in a short video .

Interested students can try to fill in the crossword puzzle, order the pieces in the library, thus giving a slightly more playful character to this exhibition.

We also hope to do some more activities besides those presented.

Besides the work of the biotourism group, we can observe some records of the students of the PCA, related to the composting process, addressed in the classes.

On a daily basis, the collection of canteen waste (fruit and bread remnants), coffee grounds from the bar and organic vegetable waste from the garden is carried out, as well as its placement in the compost, in order to obtain compost to be applied in the garden.

Besides the work of the biotourism group, we can observe some records of the students of the PCA, related to the composting process, addressed in the classes.

Wall newspapper / Jornal de Parede

Aqui está o nosso jornal de parede, com João Bernardes, um dos alunos que participaram de uma reunião de Clap na Suécia de 11 a 15 de dezembro passado.
O jornal de parede foi construído pelos alunos da turma de Bioturismo, com a orientação do professor de ciências sociais, Paulo Português, e tinha informações sobre o encontro na Suécia no momento em que tiramos essa foto.  Esperamos trazer a toda a comunidade escolar muitas notícias interessantes sobre a implementação deste projecto ERASMUS +.


Here is our wall newspaper, with João Bernardes, one of the students that participated in a Clap`s  meeting in Sweden from 11 to 15 of last december.

The wall newspaper was build by the students of Bioturism vocational class, with the orientation of the social science teacher, Paulo Português, and it had information about the meeting in Sweden at the moment we took this picture.

We hope to bring to all school comunity lots of interesting news concerning de implemention of this ERASMUS+ project.
